Flash on multiple monitors causes troubles on Ubuntu. More exactly, in the fullscreen on multiple monitors. I've tried out several solutions but without effect.
Multiple Monitors
I don't know exactly how the multimonitor works on Ubuntu but at least it is working somehow. In versions until 10.04 there were issues with configuration. Currently the situation is better. I have two monitors with different resolutions - 1280 x 1024 a 1920 x 1200.
Flash Issues
When I try to display Flash in fullscreen mode, it is displayed on the smaller monitor. This wouldn't be such an issue for me if the Flash didn't preserve the resolution of the larger monitor. It means, I can see the top left corner correctly, but the bottom right is somewhere ...
The issue is somewhere between the Flash and the Compiz. Everyone tells me different reasons. I don't want to look for the causer of the troubles but I want to find a solution. Before Unity it was sufficient to disable the Advanced Visual Effects. Currently the settings is different and to working (at least on my machine).
To set the default monitor doesn't solve the issue either.
The solution - in my case
The solution is the addon for the Chrome - Windows Expander for YouTube.
If someone offered me better solution I would be glad.
I like Ubuntu but some incomplete features drive me crazy.
